In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind 上海奉贤巨人联队's goalkeeper 冯克泉, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 冯克泉 acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 19th minute, took the ball on the long shot from 陆永松. 沈铮永 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 钱宇超 having to interfere. 23 minutes into the game, 苏辰岩 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 河南商丘巨蝎俱乐部队's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 上海奉贤巨人联队 the free kick. After a rather tough play, 河南商丘巨蝎俱乐部队's 苏辰岩 got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 钱宇超 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 唐坚崇 in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the game, 郭斐洋 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. 冯克泉 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 35 minutes, 郭斐洋 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 河南商丘巨蝎俱乐部队's supporters crossed their fingers, but 郭斐洋 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 沈铮永 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. 钱宇超 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When 白扬瑜 fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 河南商丘巨蝎俱乐部队's protests and gave 白扬瑜 a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th match minute, 河南商丘巨蝎俱乐部队 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 白扬瑜 to maneuver through the defense. In the 44th minute, 沈弘朋 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

An unexpectedly hard shot by 沈铮永 in the 54th minute of play forced 河南商丘巨蝎俱乐部队's goalkeeper 钱宇超 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If 沈铮永 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 冯克泉 came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by 河南商丘巨蝎俱乐部队's 郭斐洋. But to his dismay, 郭斐洋 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 88th minute, 沈弘朋 made a precise shot to the right of 冯克泉. 上海奉贤巨人联队's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. 93 minutes into the game, 沈铮永 recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of 钱宇超. 沈铮永 showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2.
