But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 柳磊铮 couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers 柳磊铮 in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg 麦明阳 saved 香港元朗区巨人代表队 from getting behind. With a little luck, 上海松江公民俱乐部队's 孙扬皓 got control of the ball when 康思政 tried to sneak it across the goal line. 麦明阳 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 齐常宇 in the 32nd minute of play. 吕博雄 lost his temper 34 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 33rd minute, one of 香港元朗区巨人代表队:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in 上海松江公民俱乐部队's zone, 康思政 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 孙扬皓 came out of the goal and 康思政 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of 上海松江公民俱乐部队 booed when 香港元朗区巨人代表队 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. 姜鸿耀 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 麦明阳 made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when 齐常宇 sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by 柳磊铮 in the 57th minute of play forced 香港元朗区巨人代表队's goalkeeper 麦明阳 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If 齐常宇 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 柳磊铮 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. 麦明阳 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 75th minute, 康思政 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind 香港元朗区巨人代表队's goalkeeper 麦明阳, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when 齐常宇 got free with 麦明阳 in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 齐常宇 came free with the goalkeeper in the 87th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and 麦明阳 could save by the left post. 康思政 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match was over 上海松江公民俱乐部队 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than 香港元朗区巨人代表队 throughout the match.
