An unexpectedly hard shot by 姜平川 in the 5th minute of play forced 福建福州山猫代表队's goalkeeper 梅磊竞 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the game, 姜平川 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. 梅磊竞 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 10th match minute, 河南许昌海牛联队 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 董斌旭 to maneuver through the defense. If 李彬邦 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 河南许昌海牛联队's 宋彬坚 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 潘鸿荣 in the 17th minute of play. 李彬邦 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in 福建福州山猫代表队's zone, 姜平川 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 梅磊竞 came out of the goal and 姜平川 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by 唐广卫 in the 28th minute of play forced 福建福州山猫代表队's goalkeeper 梅磊竞 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If 唐广卫 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 潘鸿荣 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 宋彬坚 having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 姜平川 to make the kick off. After a rather tough play, 河南许昌海牛联队's 尹青斐 got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 蔡锋棋 was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 63rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 66th minute 姜平川 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 梅磊竞 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th minute, 姜平川 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 梅磊竞 was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 姜平川 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 李彬邦 recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 董阳旭 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. 梅磊竞 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, 马青翀 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 尹青斐 scored 0-3 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 梅磊竞, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When 姜平川 came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the 河南许昌海牛联队 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 姜平川 couldn't finish the play. The 河南许昌海牛联队 players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
