When 曹岚钢 fell near the penalty area in the 14th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 云南曲靖幻林游侠代表队's protests and gave 曹岚钢 a yellow card for diving instead. 许志崇 might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 毛川鸿. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 许志崇 ran back to his position shaking his head. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

叶然洋 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 崔桦骋, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 86 played minutes 山西忻州豺狼俱乐部队 got a freekick which was hit by 龚宽宁. 胡朗彬 struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. 叶然洋 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal.
