In the 25thth minute of the game 吴志响 who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but 吉林通化剑羚队's 曾昂誉 was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 曾昂誉 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 吴志响 in the 28th minute of play. 40 minutes in the game, 吴志响 fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without 曾昂誉 having to interfere. 吉林通化剑羚队's 沈克珂 suffered a sore thigh after 43 minutes and couldn't finish the game. 巩海飞's late challenge caught a 吉林通化剑羚队's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. If 柯棋庭 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when 柯棋庭 made the kick off in the second half. 曾昂誉 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 吴志响 in the 61st minute of the match. The referee showed 宋皓坚 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
