In the 16th minute, 广西梧's 方棋磊 ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind 郭真坤. 郭真坤 yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. When 贺战强 came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the 广西梧 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 贺战强 couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd minute, 林雄卫 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 韩银永 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by 冯阳乐 in the 34th minute of play forced 广西梧's goalkeeper 邓义翔 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 35th minute, 方棋磊 fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 邓义翔 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 韩银永, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th minute of the match, 贺战强 got a very nice opportunity to score, but 郭真坤 was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.

The audience was convinced that 贺战强's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 郭真坤 was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. The supporters of 广西梧 booed when 上海虹口黑蚁队 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. 蒋松源 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 韩银永 hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, 朱迅益 managed to get in a good position for a shot. 上海虹口黑蚁队's supporters rose to their feet, but 朱迅益 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 邓义翔 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There was no doubt that 广西梧 were the better team. 广西梧's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
