The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 姜适景 was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when 蒋朋光 got free with 林义风 in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 胡西悦 kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. If 严诚傲 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 周志宁 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. 范森诚 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th match minute, 湖南郴州兽人队 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 胡辰志 to maneuver through the defense. The referee ignored 香港湾仔区摩羯代表队's protests and gave 康荣真 a yellow card for diving instead. 康荣真 kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. 严诚傲 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 范森诚 having to interfere. 蒋朋光 took the ball and in the 95 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 林义风. 林义风 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
