After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, 肖响斐 managed to get in a good position for a shot. 广东阳江守望者俱乐部队's supporters rose to their feet, but 肖响斐 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 姚霆远 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 16 minutes, 尹寒星 mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the 陕西西安圣徒俱乐部队 and the 广东阳江守望者俱乐部队 players grew even worse after the yellow card. 唐凡鹏's late challenge caught a 广东阳江守望者俱乐部队's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. 唐凡鹏 helped the player get up and apologised. In the 17th minute, 唐凡鹏 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 何鸿乐 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 刘坤挺 in the 19th minute of play. 钱勇宇 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 姚霆远 having to interfere. 何鸿乐 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 唐凡鹏, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 何鸿乐 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 唐凡鹏, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 唐凡鹏 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 何鸿乐 having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in 广东阳江守望者俱乐部队's zone, 刘坤挺 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 何鸿乐 came out of the goal and 刘坤挺 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 姚霆远 made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when 肖响斐 sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that 刘坤挺's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 何鸿乐 was relentless in the 41st minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by 唐凡鹏 in the 45th minute of play forced 广东阳江守望者俱乐部队's goalkeeper 何鸿乐 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 谢辰城 kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. When 刘坤挺 came up free with the goalie in the 48th minute, the 陕西西安圣徒俱乐部队 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 刘坤挺 couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 唐凡鹏 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 姚霆远 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 肖响斐, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. In the 58th minute, 刘坤挺 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 何鸿乐 was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. During the 97th minute of the match 尹寒星 completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave 尹寒星 a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. 姚霆远 came out of the goal in the 99th minute to try and stop a shot by 广东阳江守望者俱乐部队's 肖响斐. But to his dismay, 肖响斐 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. When the match was over 陕西西安圣徒俱乐部队 could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than 广东阳江守望者俱乐部队 throughout the match.
