The audience thought a goal was coming when 范傲桦 got free with 周笑奕 in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 周笑奕 made an important save on a dangerous shot by 范傲桦 in the 43rd minute. If 范傲桦 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 肖骋文 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 周笑奕 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 肖骋文 in the 51st minute of the match. 孟斐思 came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by 广东梅州冬狮联队's 巩军亮. But to his dismay, 巩军亮 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. After having played for 58 minutes, 巩军亮 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 广东梅州冬狮联队's supporters crossed their fingers, but 巩军亮 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th minute, 罗梁磊 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 65 minutes into the match, 广东梅州冬狮联队's goal looked a bit too open when 肖骋文 came free, but 周笑奕 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute, 范傲桦 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when 巩军亮 got free with 孟斐思 in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 杨枫潮 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 孟斐思 having to interfere. 巩军亮 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. 孟斐思 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 肖骋文 in the 90th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 周笑奕 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If 尤镇源 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
