When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and 严建广 made a kick off. 严建广's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 贺振潮 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. 秦朗志 hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. 孟树战 could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but 许奕帆 made a huge save. 贺振潮 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 严建广 went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in 云南曲靖步行者联队's zone, 卓峰洋 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 许奕帆 came out of the goal and 卓峰洋 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When 曲洲城 fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored 香港东区慧星俱乐部队's protests and gave 曲洲城 a yellow card for diving instead.
