None of the them looked very eager to play. 贺响军 started the match with the kick off. After 3 played minutes 台湾省新竹公民俱乐部队 got a freekick which was hit by 莫志朗. After 6 minutes 台湾省新竹公民俱乐部队's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was 郭邦康 who took care of the corner kick. 9 minutes into the game, 郭邦康 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 湖北黄石稻草人俱乐部队's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 台湾省新竹公民俱乐部队 the free kick. After 8 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for 湖北黄石稻草人俱乐部队! 刘傲旭 made an important save on a dangerous shot by 江义晨 in the 15th minute. In the 15th minute, 郭升广 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 江义晨's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 刘傲旭 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute 李杰城 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 刘傲旭 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 刘傲旭 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 李杰城 in the 26th minute of the match. 湖北黄石稻草人俱乐部队's 贺响军 got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 33 minutes into the match, 台湾省新竹公民俱乐部队's goal looked a bit too open when 贺响军 came free, but 麦昆森 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 36 minutes in the game, 李杰城 fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without 刘傲旭 having to interfere. 刘傲旭 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 李杰城, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to 台湾省新竹公民俱乐部队 getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. 严宁树 hit a great ball. After 46 played minutes, 湖北黄石稻草人俱乐部队's 郭邦康 shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper 麦昆森 came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in 湖北黄石稻草人俱乐部队 reached it. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when 李杰城 made the kick off in the second half. 李杰城 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. 刘傲旭 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If 江义晨 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 李杰城 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 苏伟强 charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 苏伟强 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 61st minute, 苏伟强 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute 江义晨 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 刘傲旭 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of 台湾省新竹公民俱乐部队 booed when 湖北黄石稻草人俱乐部队 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. 郭升广 didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, 台湾省新竹公民俱乐部队's 严宁树 tried to score from far away in the 65th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 刘傲旭 came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by 台湾省新竹公民俱乐部队's 李杰城. But to his dismay, 李杰城 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If 王朋挺 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 王朋挺 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. 麦昆森 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 刘傲旭 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 李杰城, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. 江义晨 took the ball and in the 84 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 刘傲旭. 刘傲旭 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. If 王朋挺 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a defensive mix-up in 台湾省新竹公民俱乐部队's zone, 王朋挺 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 麦昆森 came out of the goal and 王朋挺 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 贺响军 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 麦昆森 having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The 台湾省新竹公民俱乐部队 fans cheered their team off the field, for while 湖北黄石稻草人俱乐部队 had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
