If 曹奕坚 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in 香港东区巨人队's zone, 史正川 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 杨风雄 came out of the goal and 史正川 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 史正川 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 杨风雄 having to interfere. 史正川 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. 杨风雄 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 杨风雄 came out of the goal in the 28th minute to try and stop a shot by 广东中山市飞箭队's 范宽威. But to his dismay, 范宽威 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With a little luck, 香港东区巨人队's 杨风雄 got control of the ball when 范宽威 tried to sneak it across the goal line. 史正川's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 杨风雄 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. If 范宽威 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 史正川 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute, 彭斌源 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 史正川 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. 杨风雄 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 范宽威 kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. 陈飞洲 who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 58thth minute tested the skills of 李诚延 when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, 史正川 managed to get in a good position for a shot. 广东中山市飞箭队's supporters rose to their feet, but 史正川 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 杨风雄 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 杨风雄 came out of the goal in the 65th minute to try and stop a shot by 广东中山市飞箭队's 史正川. But to his dismay, 史正川 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. 史正川 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 75th match minute, 广东中山市飞箭队 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 曹奕坚 to maneuver through the defense. 李诚延 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 彭斌源, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. When 史正川 came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the 广东中山市飞箭队 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 史正川 couldn't finish the play. 范宽威 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. 杨风雄 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. There was no doubt that 广东中山市飞箭队 were the better team. 广东中山市飞箭队's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
