After having played for 25 minutes, 谢枫斌 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 香港元朗区怪鸟代表队's supporters crossed their fingers, but 谢枫斌 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 魏响亮 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 倪桦南 in the 28th minute of the match. 康洋德 came out of the goal in the 32nd minute to try and stop a shot by 香港元朗区怪鸟代表队's 谢枫斌. But to his dismay, 谢枫斌 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to 苏州PICC梦之队 getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. 楚平兴 hit a great ball. In the 37th minute, 谢枫斌 made a precise shot to the right of 康洋德. 苏州PICC梦之队's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. 谢枫斌 took the ball and in the 43 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 康洋德. 康洋德 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. After a defensive mix-up in 香港元朗区怪鸟代表队's zone, 楚平兴 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 魏响亮 came out of the goal and 楚平兴 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 莫剑岚 was the one to do the kick off. 莫剑岚 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, 苏州PICC梦之队's 鲁庭枫 got a free kick in the 65th minute. 康洋德 made an important save on a dangerous shot by 谢枫斌 in the 66th minute. 69 minutes into the match, 苏州PICC梦之队's 倪桦南 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 魏响亮 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 倪桦南 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 魏响亮 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 倪桦南, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 83rd minute, 楚平兴 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 香港元朗区怪鸟代表队's 魏响亮 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 倪桦南 in the 85th minute of play. 倪桦南 might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over 魏响亮. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. 倪桦南 ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched 香港元朗区怪鸟代表队 eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
