The supporters of 湖南常德红翼队 booed when 湖南张家界冰城队 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. 叶超城 didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute of the match 叶桑霖 shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but 史云亦 showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 蔡庭鹏 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. 俞雄诚 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute, 任响榕 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 柳枫迪 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 史云亦 having to make a save. 俞雄诚 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 蔡庭鹏 in the 31st minute of play. A collision led to 湖南常德红翼队 getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. 龙岚斌 hit a great ball. 蔡翀坚 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 俞雄诚 having to make a save. 俞雄诚 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 蔡庭鹏 in the 34th minute of play. When 蔡翀坚 came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the 湖南张家界冰城队 fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that 蔡翀坚 couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 蔡翀坚 was the one to do the kick off. 俞雄诚 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 蔡翀坚, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. 湖南常德红翼队's 任响榕 got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 柳枫迪 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 史云亦 having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by 任响榕 in the 66th minute of play forced 湖南张家界冰城队's goalkeeper 史云亦 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 72 minutes of play, 湖南常德红翼队's 任响榕 made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. 史云亦 was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by 任响榕 in the 77th minute of play forced 湖南张家界冰城队's goalkeeper 史云亦 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 蔡翀坚 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
