After having played for 15 minutes, 高南军 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hong Kong Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but 高南军 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 孙源川 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from 孔正誉 went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. 孙源川 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 范常磊, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 孙源川 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 宋阳真 in the 22nd minute of the match. 23 minutes into the game, 王钢翔 cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. 孙源川 was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, 台湾省台中县爵士俱乐部队's 杜兴坚 got control of the ball when 高南军 tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 33rd minute 宋阳真 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 孙源川 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 曾天朋 during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 范常磊 was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Hong Kong Football Club's 孙源川 got control of the ball when 方皓宇 tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by 许梁康 in the 56th minute of play forced 台湾省台中县爵士俱乐部队's goalkeeper 杜兴坚 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 宋阳真 charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
