With a little luck, Chelsea's 杜卫浩 got control of the ball when 朱皓康 tried to sneak it across the goal line. 23 minutes had been played when some careless play by 广东惠州金牛队's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. 倪杰星 was slow to take the kick. During this time Chelsea's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Chelsea's 倪杰星 to fire away a dangerous shot which 曲庭彬 despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 曲庭彬 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 陶珂亦, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 25th minute, 陶珂亦 ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. 曲庭彬 was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. In the 28th minute, 倪杰星 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 曲庭彬 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 陶珂亦 in the 33rd minute of play. 赵飞崇 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. 曲庭彬 tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 39th minute, 倪杰星 got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 44th minute, 江坚彬 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 广东惠州金牛队's 肖竞瑜 shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 45th minute of play. The shot was stopped by 杜卫浩 but with some difficulty. 曲庭彬 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 陶珂亦, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

When 曲棋洋 fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chelsea's protests and gave 曲棋洋 a yellow card for diving instead. After 60 played minutes Chelsea got a freekick which was hit by 曲棋洋. 62 minutes into the match, 朱皓康 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 杜卫浩. Chelsea's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 朱皓康 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-3. 楚明青 hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the game, 倪杰星 recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of 曲庭彬. 倪杰星 showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-4. 曲庭彬 came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Chelsea's 陶珂亦. But to his dismay, 陶珂亦 quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-5. 赵飞崇 struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. 曲庭彬 didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chelsea. 曲庭彬 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 陶珂亦 in the 77th minute of the match. In the 85th minute 朱皓康 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 杜卫浩 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 94 minutes, 陶珂亦 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chelsea's supporters crossed their fingers, but 陶珂亦 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Chelsea played a much better game than 广东惠州金牛队 and deserved their victory. The 广东惠州金牛队 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
