None of the them looked very eager to play. 杨寒威 started the match with the kick off. In the 6th minute of the game, 叶笑骋 landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. 6 minutes into the game, 冯宁志 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. 甘肃庆阳豺狼队's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave 草原雄鹰队 the free kick. After having played for 10 minutes, 方晨骋 managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. 草原雄鹰队's supporters crossed their fingers, but 方晨骋 was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 于枫森 received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. 庄广瑜 came out and tried to block the shot, but 于枫森 slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 12th minute. In the 17th minute, 魏骏扬 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as 宋杰西 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving 庄广瑜. That made the score 2-1 in the 18 minute of play. 柯树升 hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. 庄广瑜 made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when 于枫森 sent off a good shot on target. 郭亮俊 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 冯宁志, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute 曹响岚 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 郭亮俊 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match clock showed 32 minutes, the score became 2-2 when 冯宁志 sped through 草原雄鹰队's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of 郭亮俊. After 36 played minutes, 甘肃庆阳豺狼队's 柳威烨 shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper 郭亮俊 came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in 甘肃庆阳豺狼队 reached it. 37 minutes into the match, 曹响岚 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 郭亮俊. 草原雄鹰队's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 曹响岚 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. In the 41st minute of the match, 方晨骋 tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but 庄广瑜 saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 庄广瑜 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 陶浩邦 in the 42nd minute of the match. 魏骏扬 was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 43 minutes into the match. After 44 played minutes 甘肃庆阳豺狼队 got a freekick which was hit by 魏骏扬. 草原雄鹰队's 柯树升 shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 45th minute of play. The shot was stopped by 庄广瑜 but with some difficulty. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 57th match minute, 草原雄鹰队 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 于枫森 to maneuver through the defense. 庄广瑜 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 方晨骋 in the 64th minute of the match. 曹响岚 hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute 于枫森 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 庄广瑜 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 庄广瑜 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 方晨骋, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 郭亮俊 was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and 曹响岚 capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. 曹响岚 really showed his touch with that goal: 2-4. 方晨骋 scored 3-4 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 庄广瑜, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 82nd minute, 方晨骋 made a precise shot to the right of 庄广瑜. 甘肃庆阳豺狼队's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-4. 于枫森 took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 庄广瑜. 庄广瑜 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-4. The supporters of 草原雄鹰队 booed when 甘肃庆阳豺狼队 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. 曹响岚 didn't get a good kick on the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the 甘肃庆阳豺狼队 players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for 草原雄鹰队.
