When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Dylan Schneider put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of 徐强国. In the 23rd minute, 庞思景 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dylan Schneider in the 26th minute of play forced Alda Malheiro's goalkeeper 徐强国 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dylan Schneider took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 徐强国. 徐强国 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

JIANGSU FC's supporters rose to their feet, but 何笑震 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 徐强国 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Alda Malheiro fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. JIANGSU FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
