After a rather tough play, Arsenal's 김 윤 got a free kick in the 25th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Radcliffe's goal looked a bit too open when 김 인 came free, but 정 묵 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when 정 차 got free with 정 묵 in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 김 승 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 김 십 in the 33rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when 이 단 got free with 정 묵 in the 46th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Arsenal's 김 승 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Arsenal from getting a goal against them.
