Kentish Town's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gwangju Futsal the free kick. A collision led to Kentish Town getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. 이 상 hit a great ball. In the 25th minute of the match 김 신 sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but 김 용 skillfully saved the ball. 최 누 fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 김 방 having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 이 송 in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 김 방 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by 이 상 in the 30th minute of play forced Gwangju Futsal's goalkeeper 김 용 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 김 방 made an important save on a dangerous shot by 최 누 in the 32nd minute. 이 하늘 scored 0-1 in the 36th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of 김 용, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 40th match minute, Kentish Town was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 이 상 to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Kentish Town's zone, 최 누 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. 김 방 came out of the goal and 최 누 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for 이 송 to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Kentish Town's goal looked a bit too open when 이 송 came free, but 김 방 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, 이 하늘 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 김 방 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 이 송 in the 59th minute of play. In the 65th match minute, Gwangju Futsal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by 김 남궁 to maneuver through the defense. If 이 상 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th minute 이 송 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 김 방 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 이 하늘 during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 이 하늘 hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. 83 minutes into the match, 이 송 had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of 김 방. Kentish Town's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that 이 송 was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. 이 송 blasted a shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without 김 방 having to make a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling 최 누 in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck 김 방 prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Gwangju Futsal fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kentish Town had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
