George Everett kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Dean Luckham managed to get in a good position for a shot. NZTEAM's supporters rose to their feet, but Dean Luckham was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Barnabas Odonahoo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Hivesville's Everett Barling got a free kick in the 16th minute. Dean Luckham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barnabas Odonahoo having to interfere. Dean Luckham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, NZTEAM's Barnett Greenan got a free kick in the 25th minute. Brockman Brien was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Rodd Clarke. In the 32nd minute Barney Dollymore shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brockman Brien saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Barnabas Odonahoo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dean Luckham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Elliott Huther was the one to do the kick off. Dean Luckham struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Barnabas Odonahoo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NZTEAM. In the 53rd minute, Dean Luckham fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Barnabas Odonahoo, passed just outside the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elliott Huther in the 55th minute of play forced Hivesville's goalkeeper Barnabas Odonahoo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Andrew Blestowe fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hivesville's protests and gave Andrew Blestowe a yellow card for diving instead. Andrew Blestowe hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. When Barney Dollymore came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Hivesville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Barney Dollymore couldn't finish the play. Barney Dollymore took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Brockman Brien. Brockman Brien dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Brockman Brien stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Barney Dollymore's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. After 84 minutes, Boyd Quigley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the NZTEAM and the Hivesville players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 84th minute, Boyd Quigley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marco Turnor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Brockman Brien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 94th minute, Barney Dollymore ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Brockman Brien was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1.
