Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Edwards Todman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Reginald Mills having to interfere. Rudy Oneill struck a weak shot in the 8th minute. Ozzie Pfingst didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Excelsior FC. Through an outstanding action, after 9 minutes, Reginald Mills successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rudy Oneill in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ozzie Pfingst prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grant Heberle in the 20th minute of play forced Bletchley's goalkeeper Ozzie Pfingst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reginald Mills made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Randle Vickery in the 26th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rudy Oneill in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ozzie Pfingst saved Bletchley from getting behind. In the 32nd minute Grant Heberle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ozzie Pfingst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rudy Oneill in the 33rd minute of play forced Bletchley's goalkeeper Ozzie Pfingst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rudy Oneill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reginald Mills made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edwards Todman in the 43rd minute. Randle Vickery received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Reginald Mills tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Randle Vickery to make the kick off. Ozzie Pfingst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ollie Finden in the 53rd minute of play. Brooker Cudmore kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. In the 60th minute Rudy Oneill shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ozzie Pfingst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 61 minutes, Ozzie Pfingst successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The Excelsior FC fans' excitement grew in the 62nd match minute when Excelsior FC's Rudy Oneill looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A hard shot 66 in the game by Rudy Oneill from a close distance when the talented Ozzie Pfingst managed to make a qualified save. Bletchley's players were relieved. Rudy Oneill scored 0-4 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ozzie Pfingst, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Rudy Oneill could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Ozzie Pfingst made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Excelsior FC's Rudy Oneill slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ozzie Pfingst. That made the score 0-5 after 78 minutes of play. Rudy Oneill sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 82 played minutes Bletchley got a freekick which was hit by Howard Prince. The attack was good, but when Rudy Oneill in the 84th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Ollie Finden got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Rudy Oneills short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Ozzie Pfingst to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. If Rudy Oneill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Grant Heberle came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Excelsior FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Grant Heberle couldn't finish the play. The Bletchley fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Excelsior FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
