Burns Heys made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Randle Vickery in the 4th minute of play. Ozzie Pfingst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Morse in the 5th minute of play. Burns Heys made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edwards Todman in the 11th minute. Bletchley were awarded a corner in the 12th minute after Collingwood FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Elliot Powell took the corner. With a little luck, Collingwood FC's Burns Heys got control of the ball when Jeffers Colman tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Jeffers Colman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute Randle Vickery shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Burns Heys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edwards Todman got free with Burns Heys in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ozzie Pfingst made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amos Batterham in the 32nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edwards Todman got free with Burns Heys in the 35th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 41 minutes into the game, Drake Tarrant was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Collingwood FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bletchley the free kick. The supporters of Bletchley booed when Collingwood FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Drake Tarrant didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 43 minutes of play, Bletchley's Edwards Todman made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Burns Heys was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Amos Batterham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The wind increased when Amos Batterham made the kick off in the second half. Randle Vickery fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Burns Heys having to interfere. Collingwood FC's Burns Heys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edwards Todman in the 55th minute of play. Ozzie Pfingst made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lucas Morse in the 61st minute. After some careless play in the Collingwood FC defense, Edwards Todman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Burns Heys. The Collingwood FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Burns Heys should have stopped the shot. Ozzie Pfingst made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Lucas Morse sent off a good shot on target. Ozzie Pfingst was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Buchanan Alcock. An unexpectedly hard shot by Randle Vickery in the 77th minute of play forced Collingwood FC's goalkeeper Burns Heys to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Burns Heys stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Randle Vickery's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Bletchley's Edwards Todman got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Collingwood FC's Amos Batterham in the 84th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Ozzie Pfingst was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Bletchley through an amazing save. Randle Vickery scored 3-0 in the 90th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Burns Heys, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Edwards Todman struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Burns Heys didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bletchley. For all the effort they put into the match, the Collingwood FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bletchley.
