Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Laurence Millar took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rhodes's goalkeeper Randolph Beaverley, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Rhodes's zone, Iggy Muncaster stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Randolph Beaverley came out of the goal and Iggy Muncaster tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laurence Millar in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Randolph Beaverley saved Rhodes from getting behind. Neale Death showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hal Mundine in the 12th minute of the match. Randolph Beaverley stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laurence Millar's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. When Bungasaaree's Laurence Millar in the 16th minute got a chance for a shot 16th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rhodes's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 17 minutes, Carmichael Hunter managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rhodes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Carmichael Hunter was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th minute of the match Benny Thorne sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Randolph Beaverley skillfully saved the ball. In the 22nd minute, Laurence Millar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Neale Death showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanley Flesfader, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After a rather tough play, Bungasaaree's Irving Bennett got a free kick in the 27th minute. The audience was convinced that Laurence Millar's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Randolph Beaverley was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Randolph Beaverley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laurence Millar in the 39th minute of the match. Rhodes's Randolph Beaverley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laurence Millar in the 40th minute of play. Jamese Anders received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Randolph Beaverley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iggy Muncaster in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Randolph Beaverley saved Rhodes from getting behind. In the 45th minute, Laurence Millar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hal Mundine stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jamese Anders's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Randolph Beaverley read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Laurence Millar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 54thth minute tested the skills of Randolph Beaverley when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 60 minutes into the match, Rhodes's goal looked a bit too open when Laurence Millar came free, but Randolph Beaverley reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 62 minutes into the game, Laurence Millar lined in a short shot 0-1 behind a frustrated Randolph Beaverley. Neale Death showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joshua Kaine, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. After a rather tough play, Rhodes's Joshua Kaine got a free kick in the 68th minute. Rhodes's Randolph Beaverley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iggy Muncaster in the 73rd minute of play. Iggy Muncaster sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 79th minute Carmichael Hunter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Neale Death saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Laurence Millar in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Randolph Beaverley, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 84 played minutes Rhodes got a freekick which was hit by Carmichael Hunter. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iggy Muncaster during the 86th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 96th minute Hal Mundine shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Neale Death saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
