After some careless play in the Cowaramup defense, Rufus Sedgman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Clay Haydock. The Cowaramup fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Clay Haydock should have stopped the shot. In the 24th minute, Bradshaw Warhurst ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lowrey Mewburn was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Rufus Sedgman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Brooker's Lowrey Mewburn got control of the ball when Bradshaw Warhurst tried to sneak it across the goal line. 34 minutes in the game, Munroe Oneill fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Lowrey Mewburn having to interfere. When Anthony Claringbold fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cowaramup's protests and gave Anthony Claringbold a yellow card for diving instead. After 38 played minutes Cowaramup got a freekick which was hit by Anthony Claringbold. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Munroe Oneill to make the kick off. A collision led to Cowaramup getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Randle Tout hit a great ball. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cowaramup's goalkeeper Clay Haydock, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Munroe Oneill had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 75th minute, Bradshaw Warhurst made a precise shot to the right of Lowrey Mewburn. Brooker's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. 83 minutes into the game, Jason Biddell was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cowaramup's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Brooker the free kick. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brooker's goalkeeper Lowrey Mewburn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
