Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Brad Hess started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 2 played minutes Pandappa got a freekick which was hit by Berkeley Stockwin. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabrizio Ludwick in the 3rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Curtis Norman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Pandappa getting a freekick after 4 minutes play. Lance Alcock hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pandappa's zone, Fabrizio Ludwick stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Curtis Norman came out of the goal and Fabrizio Ludwick tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fabrizio Ludwick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Curtis Norman having to interfere. Olliver Paynter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Curtis Norman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 24 played minutes Runnymede got a freekick which was hit by Reese Ambrose. Albert Vickery could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Tobie Kuskop made a huge save. With a little luck, Runnymede's Tobie Kuskop got control of the ball when Albert Vickery tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Runnymede's Olliver Paynter in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pandappa's goalie prevented a goal. 39 minutes into the game, Fabrizio Ludwick cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Curtis Norman was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Tobie Kuskop showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Brad Hess in the 46th minute of the match. Tobie Kuskop made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Albert Vickery sent off a good shot on target. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olliver Paynter stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Olliver Paynter received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Curtis Norman came out and tried to block the shot, but Olliver Paynter slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 52nd minute. In the 57th match minute, Runnymede was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Howard Durbin to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Brendon Morey in the 60th minute really tested Curtis Norman's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After some careless play in the Runnymede defense, Brad Hess kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tobie Kuskop. The Runnymede fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tobie Kuskop should have stopped the shot. When Olliver Paynter fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Runnymede's protests and gave Olliver Paynter a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pandappa booed when Runnymede was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olliver Paynter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabrizio Ludwick fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Curtis Norman having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Pandappa's Baxter Norman got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After 78 minutes, Hank Smee mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pandappa and the Runnymede players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 78 played minutes Pandappa got a freekick which was hit by Hank Smee. Fabrizio Ludwick struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Curtis Norman didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Runnymede. Pandappa's Stephan Pound got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tobie Kuskop took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brad Hess, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Olliver Paynter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Runnymede played a much better game than Pandappa and deserved their victory. The Pandappa players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
