Fabian Royans showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacob Riley in the 13th minute of the match. In the 14th match minute, Youanmite was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Olin Voller to maneuver through the defense. If Jacob Riley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Pearce Telfer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Fabian Royans tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bryden Spinder blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dugald White having to make a save. Baxter Cochrane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dugald White having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Baxter Cochrane made a kick off. Dugald White made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baxter Cochrane in the 57th minute of play. With a little luck, Youanmite's Fabian Royans got control of the ball when Jacob Riley tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jacob Rileys short, quick shot in the 69thth minute got Fabian Royans to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 73rd minute Baxter Cochrane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dugald White saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 75th minute, Jacob Riley fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Fabian Royans, passed just outside the right post. After 77 minutes, Andy Mclatchey mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Youanmite and the Marcus players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dugald White showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bryden Spinder, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute.
