Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Duffield Ancell got the match started through his kick off. Ollie Markwell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Craig Lonergan in the 3rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Wallacedale's zone, Christopher Laing stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Russ Gaffigan came out of the goal and Christopher Laing tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Wallacedale's Russ Gaffigan got control of the ball when Dwight Barker tried to sneak it across the goal line. Craig Lonergan struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Ollie Markwell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wallacedale. Ollie Markwell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Duffield Ancell, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Devils Angel's zone, Duffield Ancell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ollie Markwell came out of the goal and Duffield Ancell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Wallacedale's Craig Lonergan got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ollie Markwell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Duffield Ancell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Crawford Clack kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. After 27 minutes of play, Wallacedale's Duffield Ancell made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ollie Markwell was left in no man's land by his defense there! 32 minutes into the match, Craig Lonergan notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Devils Angel's Ollie Markwell. Ollie Markwell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 39 minutes into the match, Wallacedale's goal looked a bit too open when Christopher Laing came free, but Russ Gaffigan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Artie Kuskoff charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Artie Kuskoff the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Artie Kuskoff hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Wallacedale's defense didn't have a chance, in the 45th minute, when Christopher Laing scored to the left of an out of position Russ Gaffigan, making the score, 1-2. After the first half Wallacedale were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Christopher Laing to make the kick off. With an all-out effort, Wallacedale's Ollie Markwell threw himself towards the right post 51 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Duffield Ancell, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 53 minutes into the match, Devils Angel's goal looked a bit too open when Duffield Ancell came free, but Ollie Markwell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ollie Markwell made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Craig Lonergan sent off a good shot on target. Russ Gaffigan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christopher Laing, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Craig Lonergan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 1-3 became the score in the 66th minute when Duffield Ancell elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 69th minute of the game. One of Devils Angel:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Wallacedale:s goal. In the 71st minute there was a penalty for Wallacedale. Jacob Mckinley stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ollie Markwell. 1-4. Craig Lonergan struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Ollie Markwell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wallacedale. After 82 minutes, Brent Biddell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Devils Angel and the Wallacedale players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82nd match minute, Devils Angel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brent Biddell to maneuver through the defense. If Craig Lonergan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 88 minutes, the score became 1-5 when Duffield Ancell sped through Devils Angel's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ollie Markwell. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Craig Lonergan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wallacedale's supporters rose to their feet, but Craig Lonergan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ollie Markwell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Duffield Ancell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wallacedale played a much better game than Devils Angel and deserved their victory. The Devils Angel players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
