Drake Moon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Corey Anders showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 7 minute of play. Bent Worrall sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stewart Mclatchey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rick Paynter having to interfere. After 13 minutes of play, Wurruk's Doyle Morse made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rick Paynter was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rick Paynter showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Craig Mccormick in the 17th minute of the match. Wurruk's Drake Moon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 25th minute of the match, managed to save Wurruk from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Wurruk getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Bray Sperling hit a great ball. The supporters of Wallaroo booed when Wurruk was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nero Quinn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Drake Moon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Steve Orourke in the 39th minute of the match. After 40 played minutes Corey Anders rounded Wurruk's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-1. Bent Worrall kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Craig Mccormick stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Steve Orourke sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 54th minute, Aden Connell ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Drake Moon was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. After having played for 58 minutes, Corey Anders managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wallaroo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Corey Anders was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 61 minutes, Steve Orourke mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Wallaroo and the Wurruk players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rick Paynter showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nero Quinn, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 65th minute, Steve Orourke left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Wallaroo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-1. Wurruk's Drake Moon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alvin Laing in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Corey Anders in the 73rd minute of play forced Wurruk's goalkeeper Drake Moon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 82 minutes into the game, Paul Fessa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wallaroo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wurruk the free kick. The supporters of Wurruk booed when Wallaroo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Fessa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Drake Moon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Corey Anders in the 88th minute of the match. 92 minutes into the match, Wurruk's goal looked a bit too open when Alvin Laing came free, but Drake Moon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Wurruk defense, Steve Orourke kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Drake Moon. The Wurruk fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Drake Moon should have stopped the shot.
