Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Arty Markwell made the kick off which started today's match. Pierre Haslett fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 2nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Lonergan having to interfere. 4 minutes into the match, Denham's goal looked a bit too open when Quade Macumber came free, but Charles Lonergan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arty Markwell charged in rather forcefully in the 5th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arty Markwell the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Arty Markwell hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. Pata's Burt Hoey couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 6th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Denham. Burt Hoey's long shot made the audience stand up and applaude when it rumbled by Charles Lonergan on his right side and into the goal. 12 minutes into the game it was 0-1. Arty Markwell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michael Rear having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Quade Macumber managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pata's supporters rose to their feet, but Quade Macumber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Charles Lonergan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pierre Haslett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Charles Lonergan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Charles Lonergan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quade Macumber in the 32nd minute of play. The supporters of Pata booed when Denham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arty Markwell didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Pata's Pierre Haslett got a free kick in the 33rd minute. When Pata's Pierre Haslett in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Denham's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Pierre Haslett's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Charles Lonergan was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Charles Lonergan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pierre Haslett in the 43rd minute of the match. Denham's Charles Lonergan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pierre Haslett in the 47th minute of play. After having played for 49 minutes, Quade Macumber managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Quade Macumber was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Buck Stebbing during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Charles Lonergan had in the 60thth minute some difficulties stopping Burt Hoey's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Pierre Haslett might have been able to make a better finish in the 61st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Charles Lonergan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pierre Haslett ran back to his position shaking his head. Quade Macumber's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 66thth minute, Charles Lonergan skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Charles Lonergan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pierre Haslett's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. Charles Lonergan made a fantastic save in the 73rd minute, when Quade Macumber sent off a good shot on target. Alvin Duncan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Charles Lonergan having to make a save. In the 75th match minute, Denham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arty Markwell to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot 78 in the game by Quade Macumber from a close distance when the talented Charles Lonergan managed to make a qualified save. Denham's players were relieved. If Quade Macumber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quade Macumber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Charles Lonergan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Denham's goalkeeper Charles Lonergan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Pierre Haslett blasted a shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Charles Lonergan having to make a save. Edgar Sparrow took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 89th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Charles Lonergan. Denham's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 90th minute, Quade Macumber left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pata fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. With an all-out effort, Pata's Charles Lonergan threw himself towards the right post 94 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pierre Haslett, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Quade Macumber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Lonergan having to interfere. After 97 minutes of play, Pata's Quade Macumber made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Charles Lonergan was left in no man's land by his defense there!
