Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jeffers Spurr took the kick off in the first half of the match. Arty Markwell kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. After 10 minutes Vikings's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jason Christina who took care of the corner kick. Jason Christina made a great header on Denham's corner, it was just that Vikings's Milton Barclay managed to reach the ball for a save. Arty Markwell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Milton Barclay having to interfere. Jeffers Spurr kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Charles Lonergan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jeffers Spurr in the 15th minute of the match. 17 minutes had been played when some careless play by Denham's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jeffers Spurr was slow to take the kick. During this time Vikings's players had a chance to rest. Jeffers Spurr received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Charles Lonergan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ozzie Johnston came free in the 39th minute and tried to tip the ball over Charles Lonergan, but to the joy of Denham's supporters the ball went over. Max Best received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Charles Lonergan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Milton Barclay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Earnest Marcola in the 54th minute of the match. Earnest Marcola struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Milton Barclay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Denham. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ace Freeman got free with Charles Lonergan in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Ace Freeman might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Charles Lonergan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ace Freeman ran back to his position shaking his head. After 69 played minutes Denham got a freekick which was hit by Jason Christina. 71 minutes in the game Jeffers Spurr after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Charles Lonergan. A very good opportunity. Ace Freeman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Charles Lonergan having to interfere. If Ace Freeman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 76th minute, Ace Freeman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 77th minute Jeffers Spurr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Charles Lonergan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Denham's goalkeeper Charles Lonergan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Ace Freeman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 83 minutes, Jeffers Spurr managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vikings's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeffers Spurr was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ace Freeman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Jeffers Spurr had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vikings played a much better game than Denham and deserved their victory. The Denham players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
