Biddle Byrnes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 6 minutes into the game, Benard Schulzte was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Villawood-Lansvale FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Urisino the free kick. The supporters of Urisino booed when Villawood-Lansvale FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benard Schulzte didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dante Leyden's late challenge caught a Urisino's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dante Leyden helped the player get up and apologised. Dante Leyden kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Jess Fieldhouse got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Villawood-Lansvale FC's zone, Jess Fieldhouse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Munroe Sennett came out of the goal and Jess Fieldhouse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Munroe Sennett made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Biddle Byrnes sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Jess Fieldhouse's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Munroe Sennett was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. Villawood-Lansvale FC's Munroe Sennett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Biddle Byrnes in the 21st minute of play. 25 minutes into the game, Biddle Byrnes recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Munroe Sennett. Biddle Byrnes showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Munroe Sennett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jess Fieldhouse in the 40th minute of the match. Biddle Byrnes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Munroe Sennett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jess Fieldhouse came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Urisino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jess Fieldhouse couldn't finish the play. In the 48th minute, Howard Warhurst hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 49th minute of the match, Ryan Bailey sent away a good long shot that could have become a goal, but Munroe Sennett showed an example of his skillful tending and made the save just under the crossbar. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jess Fieldhouse to make the kick off. If Jess Fieldhouse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 59 minutes of play, Urisino's Biddle Byrnes made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Munroe Sennett was left in no man's land by his defense there! 66 minutes into the match, Biddle Byrnes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Munroe Sennett. Villawood-Lansvale FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Biddle Byrnes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After 69 minutes of play, Urisino's Jess Fieldhouse made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Munroe Sennett was left in no man's land by his defense there! Urisino's Hank Orr played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pearce Lucas in the 74th minute of play. Munroe Sennett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jess Fieldhouse, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 86 minutes into the match, Biddle Byrnes notched a goal, 7-0, to the right of Villawood-Lansvale FC's Munroe Sennett. Munroe Sennett was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Biddle Byrnes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Munroe Sennett took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jess Fieldhouse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Urisino walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
