Kirby Cubit made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Christian Mcmahon sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Kurdnatta's zone, Christian Mcmahon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kirby Cubit came out of the goal and Christian Mcmahon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 6th minute, Grant Pukallus left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The inter-mum fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 9 played minutes Kurdnatta got a freekick which was hit by Jasmine Heberle. Lance Malacarne charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lance Malacarne the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jake Laughton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nero Mcquinn, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for inter-mum! Bo Hardiman placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Logan Burtt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Jake Laughton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nero Mcquinn to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Logan Burtt got free with Jake Laughton in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jake Laughton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nero Mcquinn's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. In the 66th minute, Nero Mcquinn got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a rather tough play, Kurdnatta's Nero Mcquinn got a free kick in the 68th minute. Logan Burtt sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out.
