Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Barnard Pinal started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Cobden's zone, Rudy Isaac stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cullen Triplett came out of the goal and Rudy Isaac tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 9th minute, Andre Gannan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpected shot in the 16th minute by Rudy Isaac got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When Cobden's Jake Feutrill in the 17th minute got a chance for a shot 17th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carapooee's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Adam Fessey's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Duncan Heathwood was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jake Feutrill in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Duncan Heathwood prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Douglas Ludwick hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Cobden's Murphey Fitton tried to score from far away in the 32nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After having played for 38 minutes, Adam Fessey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cobden's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adam Fessey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rudy Isaac got free with Cullen Triplett in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jake Feutrill in the 47th minute of play forced Carapooee's goalkeeper Duncan Heathwood to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adam Fessey made a kick off. When Kyle Freeman fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Carapooee's protests and gave Kyle Freeman a yellow card for diving instead. Kyle Freeman kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. After having played for 52 minutes, Adam Fessey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jacob Giles lost his temper 56 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Cobden's Jake Feutrill got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Cobden booed when Carapooee was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kyle Freeman didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 82nd minute Barnard Pinal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cullen Triplett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Carapooee's Rudy Isaac nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cullen Triplett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Jake Feutrill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duncan Heathwood having to interfere. Cullen Triplett stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rudy Isaac's shot from short distance in the 93rd minute.
