With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lawrence Twite in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kane Maunsell saved Toogong from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

Lachlan's Edward Gillingwater got his second yellow card of the match in the 52nd minute. The referee ordered Edward Gillingwater off the ground. Toogong's Kane Maunsell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Toogong from getting a goal against them. In the 65th minute, Steve Tenser hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 67 minutes into the game, Lawrence Twite recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kane Maunsell. Lawrence Twite showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-5. After 70 minutes, Lawrence Twite made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. Toogong's Kane Maunsell tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Lawrence Twite fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kane Maunsell having to interfere. Kane Maunsell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Phil Sylvester, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute the ball was on its way in behind Toogong's goalkeeper Kane Maunsell, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lawrence Twite's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Kane Maunsell skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Steve Tenser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lawrence Twite came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Lachlan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lawrence Twite couldn't finish the play. Kane Maunsell made an important save on a dangerous shot by Douglas Fenwick in the 89th minute. If Lawrence Twite had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lawrence Twite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boyce Ludwick kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Lachlan's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
