Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Toogong's Boyce Ludwick started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kane Maunsell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rob Watman in the 9th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the game, Barringna's Howard Butterworth nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kane Maunsell made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Barringna's Rob Watman in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Toogong's goalie prevented a goal. After 16 minutes of play, Barringna's Howard Butterworth made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kane Maunsell was left in no man's land by his defense there! 19 minutes into the match, Toogong's goal looked a bit too open when Rob Watman came free, but Kane Maunsell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Howard Butterworth managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barringna's supporters rose to their feet, but Howard Butterworth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kane Maunsell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Rob Watman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kane Maunsell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rob Watman went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. If Howard Butterworth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 38 minutes into the match, Toogong's goal looked a bit too open when Rob Watman came free, but Kane Maunsell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rob Watman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Kane Maunsell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Barringna were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Howard Butterworth stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 58th minute, Howard Butterworth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Howard Butterworth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Toogong getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Neville Gillingwater hit a great ball. Kane Maunsell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Howard Butterworth in the 68th minute of the match. Ned Fulton hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Rob Watman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kane Maunsell having to interfere. In the 73rd minute, Barringna's Howard Butterworth ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kane Maunsell. Kane Maunsell yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-5. In the 79th minute, Howard Butterworth reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kane Maunsell. The goal made the score 0-6. Howard Butterworth recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Howard Butterworth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kane Maunsell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Howard Butterworth in the 91st minute of play. Rob Watman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Kane Maunsell made a huge save. Rob Watman kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. If Howard Butterworth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match was over Barringna could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Toogong throughout the match.
