The tension between the Kogarah and the Mannhurst players grew even worse after the yellow card. 7 minutes into the game, one of Kogarah:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Earl Czaczka went to the wrong direction when Ernest Bowman was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Mannhurst's Amos Hinder got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Broderick Petty sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Broderick Petty in the 21st minute of play forced Kogarah's goalkeeper Earl Czaczka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 21 played minutes Kogarah got a freekick which was hit by Jarrett Maddern. Amos Hinder recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amos Hinder in the 25th minute of play forced Kogarah's goalkeeper Earl Czaczka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Kogarah's Dane Odd got a free kick in the 26th minute. 30 minutes in the game, Carsyn Baxter fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Darin Soekirno having to interfere. After having played for 32 minutes, Dane Odd managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kogarah's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dane Odd was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Mannhurst's Marshal Dearn got a free kick in the 34th minute. In the 40th match minute, Mannhurst was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeffers Grigson to maneuver through the defense. After 42nd play minutes Carsyn Baxter shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Darin Soekirno and just under the crossbar into goal. A collision led to Mannhurst getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Jemmett Boots hit a great ball. In the 46th minute, Marshal Knaack got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Amos Hinder to make the kick off. Kogarah's Earl Czaczka proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Kogarah from getting a goal against them. In the 67th minute, Broderick Petty got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Darin Soekirno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marshal Knaack in the 69th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Mannhurst defense, Carsyn Baxter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Darin Soekirno. The Mannhurst fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Darin Soekirno should have stopped the shot. If Amos Hinder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 77th match minute, Kogarah was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dane Odd to maneuver through the defense. Darin Soekirno didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marshal Knaack went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. If Carsyn Baxter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Darin Soekirno didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Kogarah's Carsyn Baxter shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-0 in the ordered_time% minute. 97 minutes into the match, Kogarah's goalkeeper Earl Czaczka had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Broderick Petty.
