Henry Renney stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Barnett Blestowe's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Barnett Blestowe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Henry Renney tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Esk's goalkeeper Henry Renney, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Largs's David Magnay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Everett Hunn in the 30th minute of play. Jesse Mcjunkin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. David Magnay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match clock showed 37 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Barnett Blestowe sped through Esk's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Henry Renney. Henry Renney took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Barnett Blestowe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the game, Logan Solomon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Henry Renney was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Berke Lingwoodock stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Barnett Blestowe was extremely unlucky when he, in the 60th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Earle Ludwick blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Henry Renney having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Largs's zone, Jesse Mcjunkin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Magnay came out of the goal and Jesse Mcjunkin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Henry Renney stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Barnett Blestowe's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. In the 74th minute Barnett Blestowe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Renney saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
