Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Christopher Coleman started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Nathan Skurrie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brant Gummow, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 11th minute, Brant Gummow ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nathan Skurrie was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 15th minute, Christopher Coleman left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bulgroo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Brant Mudie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elliott Tencer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. After 18 played minutes Taroona got a freekick which was hit by Fabrizio Thiele. Brant Mudie struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Elliott Tencer didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bulgroo. Kirk Heberle hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. If Christopher Coleman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bjorn Fordham hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. If Brant Gummow had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 45 played minutes Taroona got a freekick which was hit by Fabrizio Thiele. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brant Gummow stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Brant Mudie came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Bulgroo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brant Mudie couldn't finish the play. After having played for 59 minutes, Brant Mudie managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bulgroo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Brant Mudie was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Isaac Tearle charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Isaac Tearle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 62nd match minute, Bulgroo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Tearle to maneuver through the defense. Brant Gummow who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 65thth minute tested the skills of Nathan Skurrie when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Brant Gummow sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 74 minutes into the match, Taroona's goal looked a bit too open when Brant Mudie came free, but Elliott Tencer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 78th minute, Christopher Coleman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Elliott Tencer was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. Christopher Coleman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Berry Magnays short, quick shot in the 87thth minute got Nathan Skurrie to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Brant Gummow sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nathan Skurrie made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Berry Magnay sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Bulgroo had won after a very even match.
