Christopher Coleman did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Dacosta Solomon 7 minutes into the match. Cuballing's Dacosta Solomon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Cuballing from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Drew Aistrope during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Bulgroo booed when Cuballing was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Drew Aistrope didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brant Mudie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dacosta Solomon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Dacosta Solomon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christopher Coleman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Angus Devere might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nathan Skurrie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Angus Devere ran back to his position shaking his head. Thanks to some nice moves Brant Mudie could shoot a difficult shot in the 46th minute, which Dacosta Solomon however easily saved by the left post. Brant Mudie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Bert Groves made a kick off. Nathan Skurrie made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Angus Devere sent off a good shot on target. 58 minutes into the match, Cuballing's Bert Groves sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nathan Skurrie narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Bulgroo's Brant Mudie in the 62nd minute got a chance for a shot 62nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cuballing's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bert Groves in the 66th minute of play forced Bulgroo's goalkeeper Nathan Skurrie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Brant Mudie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cuballing's goalkeeper Dacosta Solomon, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cuballing's Dacosta Solomon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brant Mudie in the 72nd minute of play. After 72 minutes, Dale Wivell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cuballing and the Bulgroo players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 72 played minutes Cuballing got a freekick which was hit by Dale Wivell. When Christopher Coleman came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Bulgroo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christopher Coleman couldn't finish the play. Cuballing's Dacosta Solomon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brant Mudie in the 77th minute of play. Bulgroo's Brant Mudie got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Cuballing players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Bulgroo.
