Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ryan's Dwight Monson started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Mark Smoothy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dwight Monson in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th match minute, Ryan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Douglas Thorne to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Calabria F.C's Evan Renshaw got a free kick in the 17th minute. Nilson Bridson's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 19thth minute, Rufus Barling skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Nilson Bridson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Rufus Barling tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the game, Nilson Bridson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Rufus Barling was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mark Smoothy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mark Schutt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matthews Peach sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Calabria F.C's Mark Smoothy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dwight Monson in the 46th minute of play. Evan Renshaw's late challenge caught a Ryan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Evan Renshaw helped the player get up and apologised. Evan Renshaw hit a great freekick 49 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Matthews Peach made a kick off. Calabria F.C's Mark Smoothy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dwight Monson in the 57th minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Ellis Wayland hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthews Peach in the 64th minute of play forced Ryan's goalkeeper Rufus Barling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ryan's zone, Matthews Peach stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rufus Barling came out of the goal and Matthews Peach tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rufus Barling showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Matthews Peach, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. When Ryan's Dwight Monson in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Calabria F.C's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 75 minutes, Nilson Bridson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calabria F.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Nilson Bridson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Matthews Peach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rufus Barling having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Matthews Peach ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rufus Barling was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Mark Smoothy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dwight Monson, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. With an all-out effort, Ryan's Mark Smoothy threw himself towards the right post 86 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Dwight Monson, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After 86 played minutes Calabria F.C got a freekick which was hit by Jordon Quinane. In the 92nd minute of the match, Adam Veitch tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mark Smoothy saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. There was no doubt that Calabria F.C were the better team. Calabria F.C's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
