Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alberto Haberle started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Fanning booed when Westville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caine Quinn didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute, Caine Quinn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaffery Smoothy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Max Sedgman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Haberle in the 16th minute of the match. Jaffery Smoothy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Max Sedgman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alberto Haberle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Sedgman having to interfere. Fanning's Max Sedgman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Fanning from getting a goal against them. When Jaffery Smoothy came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Westville fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jaffery Smoothy couldn't finish the play. Max Sedgman made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaffery Smoothy in the 36th minute. In the 36th match minute, Fanning was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bock Bonham to maneuver through the defense. Jaffery Smoothy was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 37th minute. Westville's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 38 minutes into the game, Alberto Haberle recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Max Sedgman. Alberto Haberle showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. 41 minutes into the match, Alberto Haberle notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Fanning's Max Sedgman. Max Sedgman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Parker Triplett didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Berne Mogork went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. In the 49th minute Alberto Haberle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Sedgman saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Berne Mogork stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rdth minute of the game Jaffery Smoothy who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fanning's Max Sedgman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Westville's Jaffery Smoothy got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alberto Haberle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Sedgman having to interfere. Max Sedgman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaffery Smoothy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Brendan Mckay hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Jaffery Smoothy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alberto Haberle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Max Sedgman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Haberle, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. If Alberto Haberle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. Max Sedgman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alberto Haberle's shot from short distance in the 75th minute. Brice Feutrill fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Parker Triplett having to interfere. Jaffery Smoothy received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Max Sedgman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
