Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Berne Alves started the match with the kick off. After 11 minutes, Caine Quinn mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Westville and the Goodia players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Goodia booed when Westville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Caine Quinn didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alberto Haberle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Berne Alves during the 17th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Berne Alves kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alberto Haberle in the 21st minute of play forced Goodia's goalkeeper Rich Dowling to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Goodia's Bart Pincini got a free kick in the 28th minute. If Jaffery Smoothy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. Westville's Alberto Haberle got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 36thth minute of the game Alberto Haberle who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Goodia's Rich Dowling was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alberto Haberle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Duffield Stevenson came up free with the goalie in the 40th minute, the Goodia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Duffield Stevenson couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Westville booed when Goodia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 48 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duffield Stevenson didn't get a good kick on the ball. After the first half Westville were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alberto Haberle to make the kick off. When Westville's Jaffery Smoothy in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Goodia's goalie prevented a goal. The supporters of Goodia booed when Westville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damon Allan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Darryl Whitmore recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Goodia's goalkeeper Rich Dowling, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 65 minutes into the match, Jaffery Smoothy notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Goodia's Rich Dowling. Rich Dowling was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Caine Quinn kicked well hit freekick during the 71st minute of the match. In the 73rd play minute Jaffery Smoothy came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Rich Dowling. 0-3. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Haberle in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rich Dowling prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Goodia's Duffield Stevenson pulled a muscle in his back after 81 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Caine Quinn got his second yellow card in the match during the 81st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 83rd minute, Caine Quinn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 86th minute, Barry Callaghan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rich Dowling made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaffery Smoothy in the 89th minute. Jaffery Smoothy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Darryl Whitmore received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rich Dowling came out and tried to block the shot, but Darryl Whitmore slotted it home off the left post making it 0-4 in the 92nd minute. Jaffery Smoothy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rich Dowling having to interfere. After having played for 98 minutes, Jaffery Smoothy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Westville's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaffery Smoothy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Westville's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
