Rodd Coleman charged in rather forcefully in the 9th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Rodd Coleman the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, ross fc's Lorimer Dalglish got a free kick in the 30th minute. Mundiwindi's Bryson Fordham got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Edison Weatherby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bryson Fordham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amos Lamb having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Lorimer Dalglish hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 44th minute, ross fc's Burt Gannan dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edison Weatherby to make the kick off. Edison Weatherby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amos Lamb having to interfere. Bryson Fordham received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Amos Lamb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edison Weatherby in the 67th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amos Lamb saved ross fc from getting behind. Burt Gannan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Matthias Wilde read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Mundiwindi's Edison Weatherby got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 79th minute, Edison Weatherby got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A hard shot 83 in the game by Bryson Fordham from a close distance when the talented Amos Lamb managed to make a qualified save. ross fc's players were relieved. The supporters of Mundiwindi booed when ross fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lorimer Dalglish didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Mundiwindi's Amos Lamb threw himself towards the right post 92 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Edison Weatherby, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 94th minute Edison Weatherby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amos Lamb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the match, Mundiwindi's Bryson Fordham sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amos Lamb narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mundiwindi were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing ross fc to leave the ground with a draw.
