Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bruce Pukallus took the kick off in the first half of the match. Niles Egel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bock Hinwood in the 5th minute. Niles Egel was a little too slow when Kane Kean got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 8th minute. The score was now 1-0. After a rather tough play, Kurrajong's Chuck Szobczak got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute, Brayden Belford got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Joseph Barugh had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Glanmire booed when Kurrajong was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruce Pukallus didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 24th minute, Glanmire's Eliot Rummens dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kurrajong's goalkeeper Niles Egel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Glanmire's Eliot Rummens slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Niles Egel. That made the score 4-0 after 43 minutes of play. Eliot Rummens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eliot Rummens made a kick off. Bruce Pukallus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eliot Rummens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Niles Egel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Kurrajong's Chuck Szobczak got a free kick in the 64th minute. When Brayden Belford came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Glanmire fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Brayden Belford couldn't finish the play. Eliot Rummens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Niles Egel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Niles Egel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliot Rummens in the 72nd minute of play. Glanmire's Bevis Barling proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Glanmire from getting a goal against them. Joseph Barugh fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bevis Barling having to interfere. Brayden Belford's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niles Egel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. In the 89thth minute of the game Bruce Pukallus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Glanmire's Bevis Barling was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Eliot Rummens put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Niles Egel.
