Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Phenix Kerville showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bruce Laycock, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Bryson Solomon kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Phil Waller in the 12th minute of play forced Platts's goalkeeper Dane Alcock to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12thth minute of the game Phil Waller who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Platts's Dane Alcock was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some careless play in the Platts defense, Loud Allcock kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dane Alcock. The Platts fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dane Alcock should have stopped the shot. In the 31st minute, Bruce Laycock got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Phil Waller recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute Loud Allcock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dane Alcock saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Bruce Laycock's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Phenix Kerville was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Barnes Pukallus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Phenix Kerville having to interfere. If Phil Waller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
The wind increased when Bruce Laycock made the kick off in the second half. Phenix Kerville showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruce Laycock in the 53rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Phil Waller got free with Dane Alcock in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Barnes Pukallus sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Loud Allcock got free in front of the goal in the 64th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Dane Alcock was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. A hard shot 69 in the game by Phil Waller from a close distance when the talented Dane Alcock managed to make a qualified save. Platts's players were relieved. Phil Waller sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruce Laycock in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Phenix Kerville saved Sarsfield from getting behind. If Phil Waller had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elliott Clinton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Platts booed when Sarsfield was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lance Fitton didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Sarsfield's Karl Gruer got a free kick in the 87th minute. Bruce Laycock struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Phenix Kerville didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Platts. Karl Gruer hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Phenix Kerville showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Barnes Pukallus in the 94th minute of the match. Bruce Laycock scored 2-1 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Phenix Kerville, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
