Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Everett Macinnes got the match started through his kick off. Jennapullin's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Everett Macinnes 8 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, Bato United's goal looked a bit too open when Kirk Kerville came free, but Damian Shortus reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bert Schutt in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Damian Shortus saved Bato United from getting behind. If Hank Grandison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boyd Unicomb made a fantastic save in the 20th minute, when Hank Grandison sent off a good shot on target. In the 21st minute, Hank Grandison got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Damian Shortus came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Jennapullin's Bert Schutt. But to his dismay, Bert Schutt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. 32 minutes into the game, Hank Grandison was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bato United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jennapullin the free kick. Hank Grandison hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. With a little luck, Jennapullin's Boyd Unicomb got control of the ball when Hank Grandison tried to sneak it across the goal line. Kirk Kerville struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Damian Shortus didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jennapullin. 42 minutes into the game, Bert Schutt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jennapullin's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bato United the free kick. Everett Macinnes struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Boyd Unicomb didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bato United. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hank Grandison got free with Boyd Unicomb in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kirk Kerville was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kirk Kerville in the 52nd minute of play forced Bato United's goalkeeper Damian Shortus to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute Hank Grandison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boyd Unicomb saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hank Grandison recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 63rd minute, Hank Grandison made a precise shot to the right of Boyd Unicomb. Jennapullin's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hank Grandison in the 67th minute of play forced Jennapullin's goalkeeper Boyd Unicomb to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Bato United getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Irwin Tongs hit a great ball. Jennapullin's Danton Ogle couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 70th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bato United. When the match had gone on for 73 minutes, Everett Macinnes put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Boyd Unicomb. Hank Grandison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Boyd Unicomb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 79 minutes of play, Bato United's Everett Macinnes made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Boyd Unicomb was left in no man's land by his defense there! Everett Macinnes might have been able to make a better finish in the 82nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Boyd Unicomb. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Everett Macinnes ran back to his position shaking his head. Hank Grandison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Boyd Unicomb took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Everett Macinnes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Everett Macinnes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 91 minutes, Irwin Tongs mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bato United and the Jennapullin players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 91st match minute, Bato United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Irwin Tongs to maneuver through the defense. Bert Schutt who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 95thth minute tested the skills of Damian Shortus when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When the referee ended the match the Bato United players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
