Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Walpole's Bradford Harkness started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After having played for 5 minutes, Fletcher Dalglish managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Walpole's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fletcher Dalglish was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 6th match minute, Bicheno was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dakota Porteus to maneuver through the defense. After 11 played minutes Walpole got a freekick which was hit by Baxter Morse. Hans Addison stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rodney Leach's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. After having played for 26 minutes, Fletcher Dalglish managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Walpole's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fletcher Dalglish was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Bicheno's Carver Wang played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fletcher Dalglish in the 30th minute of play. After 32 minutes, Brook Conlan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Walpole and the Bicheno players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 33rd minute, Brook Conlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 34th minute, Rodney Leach left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bicheno fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The supporters of Bicheno booed when Walpole was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matthew Saisell didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Robert Czaczka got free in front of the goal in the 42nd minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Hans Addison was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Walpole's Hans Addison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Czaczka in the 45th minute of play. In the 46th match minute, Walpole was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Watman to maneuver through the defense. In the 48th minute of the match Jamese Kiel shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hans Addison showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 60th minute of the match, Rodney Leach tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hans Addison saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fletcher Dalglish in the 62nd minute of play forced Bicheno's goalkeeper Carver Wang to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Walpole's goal looked a bit too open when Rodney Leach came free, but Hans Addison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Robert Czaczka managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bicheno's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Czaczka was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hans Addison breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Hans Addison showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodney Leach in the 71st minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Walpole's Darren Phasey got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Carver Wang took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bradford Harkness, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Bicheno's Hans Addison threw himself towards the right post 84 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rodney Leach, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Rodney Leach came up free with the goalie in the 88th minute, the Bicheno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodney Leach couldn't finish the play. Robert Czaczka sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carver Wang showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fletcher Dalglish in the 92nd minute of the match. If Bradford Harkness had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
