Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Earl Shirdon started the match with the kick off. James Kerville didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 4th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Earl Shirdon in the 10th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bryden Sawbridge prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Bryden Sawbridge came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Tyabb's Alexander Norton. But to his dismay, Alexander Norton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Alfred Delbridge kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Malcolm Stageman's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but James Kerville firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 16th minute, Arne Calver reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of James Kerville. The goal made the score 2-1. In the 19thth minute of the game Alexander Norton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Berakin's Bryden Sawbridge was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Alexander Norton managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tyabb's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexander Norton was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bryden Sawbridge breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Berakin's Bryden Sawbridge played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexander Norton in the 24th minute of play. Earl Shirdon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Bryden Sawbridge tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Earl Shirdon might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bryden Sawbridge. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Earl Shirdon ran back to his position shaking his head. After having played for 33 minutes, Malcolm Stageman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Berakin's supporters crossed their fingers, but Malcolm Stageman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. James Kerville made an important save on a dangerous shot by Battle Bostock in the 36th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arne Calver made a kick off. In the 51st minute, Alexander Norton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Battle Bostock kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Malcolm Stageman managed to get in a good position for a shot. Berakin's supporters rose to their feet, but Malcolm Stageman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. James Kerville breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 60th minute, Malcolm Stageman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. James Kerville was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. In the 69th minute Arne Calver shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but James Kerville saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Earl Shirdon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Earl Shirdon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bryden Sawbridge having to interfere. Clarke Veitch's late challenge caught a Tyabb's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clarke Veitch helped the player get up and apologised. 87 minutes into the match, Tyabb's Boyd Kuch broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. James Kerville showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arne Calver, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute.
