Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Kale Crane made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Cheviot's goal looked a bit too open when Kale Crane came free, but Earnest Wirth reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 5 minutes into the match, Baxter Duncan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bill Raison. Beachport's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Baxter Duncan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Cheviot's Norman Egel couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 10th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Beachport. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Bonnison in the 12th minute of play forced Beachport's goalkeeper Bill Raison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 15thth minute of the game Kale Crane who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cheviot's Earnest Wirth was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 17 played minutes Kale Crane rounded Cheviot's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Barth Bohn kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 24th minute Kale Crane shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Earnest Wirth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Earnest Wirth showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kale Crane, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. In the 28th minute, Pearce Gannan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Beachport fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Beachport's Kale Crane got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 41st minute, Beachport's Kale Crane dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-1. Kale Crane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Earnest Wirth having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.

The wind increased when David Bonnison made the kick off in the second half. Earnest Wirth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kale Crane in the 51st minute of play. Earnest Wirth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pearce Gannan in the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by David Bonnison in the 62nd minute of play forced Beachport's goalkeeper Bill Raison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pearce Gannan scored 5-1 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Earnest Wirth, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Earnest Wirth showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pearce Gannan in the 74th minute of the match. Earnest Wirth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kale Crane in the 77th minute of play. In the 77th minute, Baxter Duncan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Duncan Fitzpatrick's late challenge caught a Cheviot's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Duncan Fitzpatrick helped the player get up and apologised. Buck Williams took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Earnest Wirth. Cheviot's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 87th minute David Bonnison shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bill Raison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pearce Gannan in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Earnest Wirth saved Cheviot from getting behind. Beachport were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Cheviot for a fine match.
